The blades are a bit thick, not razor sharp, and may have blank and flat spots. Made using modern tools and methods.. The handle is made from a Orthoceras fossil, This is a 250 million year old squid and is a a true fossil. Measurements are not exact... The overall length is about 9.75 inches .. The blade length is about 4.75 inches.. Warning: Dogs and cats like to use these as chew toys. This probably will not harm your pet but it will not do your new purchase any good.
